The InCHIANTI study has shared the results since the first data collection with other researchers in aging field mainly with those interested in decline in physical function associated to aging and its different aspects (assessment, determinants, outcomes). During the life course of the study many collaborators have contributed to increase the data collection mainly on the biological side.
Collaboration is of great importance in scientific research and researchers are encouraged to use data from InCHIANTI in their original work. Researchers wishing to work with data from InCHIANTI are welcome to submit a research proposal. Partnerships are essential in develop innovative study on the side of assessment tools and on the prospective of new insights in the model of disease-disability relations
